About Us

Pegasus Water Polo Academy was formed in the fall of 2016 with its original intent to bring high quality water polo to children of all ages to Dallas.  In 2019 the Dallas Masters Water Polo team merged with Pegasus allowing us to capitalize on synergies as we streamlined administration, maximized pool usage and engaged many of the Masters players as Youth Water Polo Coaches. In the fall of 2020 Pegasus expanded beyond Water Polo and started a new Masters Swim team which further complements our program and turns it into a true aquatics program thus the rebranding to Pegasus Aquatics.  Pegasus Water Polo Academy is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) organization exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as a qualified amateur sports organization.

Youth Water Polo 

Water Polo is a sport that develops strength, coordination and strategy. It is also one of the fastest-growing sports in Texas and has become a UIL sport in 2022! However many schools and communities do not offer Water Polo Programs, so Pegasus fills this gap with year-round training and playing opportunities for kids of all ages. 

Pegasus Water Polo Academy will ensure that the athletes' competitive development is the focus of every training session and game. We prepare athletes to successfully compete locally and regionally. We offer practices year-round across several pools in North Dallas and have programs for all experience levels. Read more information here.

Masters Water Polo

The Masters Water Polo program is for athletes out of high school and older who have water polo team experience and/or a strong swimming background.  The group practices two times a week and plays in tournaments throughout the year.  The Dallas Masters helps support and supplement the local, youth water polo programs of the area including high school water polo and youth club water polo. *Note: In June 2019, DWPC merged with Pegasus WPA. Masters Swimming 

Pegasus Aquatic Masters Swimming is a registered United States Masters Swimming club for anyone 18 or over that can swim one length of the pool continuously. We offer three levels of swimmers at each practice: beginner, intermediate and advanced. All practices are led by an experienced coach and lanes are divided up by speed and ability. We offer daily morning, noon, and evening practices in addition to weekend practices at multiple locations. Read more information here.
