Letter from Houston Hall, Chairman of Pegasus Aquatics, Regarding Outdoor Pool

Dear Friend of Pegasus Aquatics,

 

Exciting news!  SMU is in the final stages of fundraising for a new 50-meter outdoor pool that, paired with their already-amazing 50-meter indoor pool, will give SMU the finest indoor-outdoor collegiate aquatics complex in the country.

And here’s the best part: Pegasus will be a huge winner!  In return for raising $2 million toward SMU’s $11 million target, Pegasus and SMU will ink a 10-year contract giving Pegasus right-of-first-refusal on pool time for both pools, second only to SMU’s own teams. Pegasus will both secure its forever home and enable tremendous growth in its Youth water polo and Masters swimming and water polo programs. 

We are so close already...will you help get us over the finish line with a donation today?  If we can hit the target by the end of September, construction can begin this year and we will be in the new pool in early 2023!

On the SMU side, they recently received a $1.5M match to propel them to reaching their goal and they’re well on their way!  On the Pegasus side, we’re just a few hundred thousand away from our goal.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Pegasus.  Let’s hit our number before SMU hits theirs!
