The Pegasus Board Announces Two New Members

Laurie Dunlap

To the Pegasus Aquatics Community:

It is my great pleasure to announce two recent additions to our leadership team who will be instrumental in helping Pegasus attain its goals.  At its last meeting, our Board elected Joan Schriger to the Board of Directors and appointed Peter Moir as General Counsel.  Joan and Peter – both dedicated Masters swimmers -- bring unique skill sets honed by extensive experience and, most importantly, share the passion that all of our leaders, coaches, parent volunteers and supporters have for our mission.

Joan began her swimming career as an age-grouper on the East Coast before moving west to swim at the University of California at Berkeley.  She has been an active Masters swimmer for more than three decades and has held various National and World titles and records with The Olympic Club of San Francisco. She currently swims with Pegasus Aquatics Masters Swimming (PAMS). She has served on a variety of aquatics-related boards, and served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Olympic Club.  In her professional life, Joan is a partner at a wealth management firm.

Peter played age group and high school water polo while growing up in Puerto Rico and Hawai’i.  He continued playing for the University of Texas club team when he was in Austin getting his law degree at UT.  Eventually, Peter switched from Masters water polo to Masters swimming and swims as a member of PAMS.  Peter has a national practice as a trial lawyer.

Please join me in thanking Joan and Peter for their commitment to Pegasus.

Thank you, Joan and Peter!

Sincerely,

Houston Hall

Chairman of the Board
